Rabada’s services restrict the Men in Blue

The second T20I has proven to be a very special game for South African pacer Kagiso Rabada as the bowler now has 50 wickets in the shortest format of the game. Rabada reached the landmark during the 2nd T20I of the five match series against India at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

The second last ball of the first over was the 50th wicket of the pacer as he got the better of Ruturaj Gaikwad and was caught at point by Keshav Maharaj, Gaikwad only made 1 of his 4 deliveries.

The Proteas won the toss and elected to field, with regular intervals of wickets, the Indian batting line up was suffering. However, with two quick cameos of Ishan Kishan and Dinesh Karthik, the hosts managed to score 148 in their 20 overs.

Rabada had figures of 4 – 0 – 15 – 1, now up to the Indian batting line up to showcase their magic, if SA wins, India will be on the verge of a series knockout.
