Former NFL star, Tony Siragusa who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 55, was remembered by teammates for the major role he played on the Ravens Super Bowl XXXV championship. Tony played as a defensive player for 12 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League.
After retirement, he worked as a sideline analyst for Fox Network regarding the NFL games broadcast from 2003 to 2015. Siragusa was an initial part of the Colts team that narrowly lost the 1995 AFC Championship Game; after the season, he was unhappy that Colts coach Ted Marchibroda’s contract wasn’t renewed.
“I love Goose like a brother. From the first day we met, I knew that life was different. I knew he was someone who would change my life forever. He was a one-of-a-kind person who made you feel important and special. You can never replace a man like that. On the field, he was the ultimate competitor who brought out the best in all of us. We should never put off tomorrow for what we can do today. Hug your loved ones for Goose” said Hall of Famer Ray Lewis.

Tony passed away on June 22, 2022 in his sleep, at the age of 55.
