Roger Federer gearing up for another Wimbledon?

Roger Federer did make his way to Wimbledon this year, although he did not compete, he took part in a ceremony which marked the centenary of Centre Court on Sunday, the Switzerland player has said he is hopeful of returning back with a tennis racket in his hand in 2023.

Federer opted for a suit which also had his purple Wimbledon member’s badge pinned to a jacket lapel. The Swiss star has been facing a knee problems, was among more than two dozen winners of singles championships at the grass-court tournament who appeared in the main stadium during a 35 minute tribute to a stadium that opened in 1932.

“Just tried to be successful here and represent the sport well. I hope I did that. And I hope I can come back…. one more time.” said Federer.

Roger has won eight Wimbledon’s of his 20 Grand Slams in his career and is touted as the most greatest tennis player along with Rafael Nadal Novak Djokovic. He was ranked No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for 310 weeks.
