After his successful campaign with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the TATA IPL 2022, wicket keeper batsmen Dinesh Karthik has made his comeback in the Indian colours and making the most of this opportunity. He is at a strike rate 158.62, he has been in the shoes of a finisher quite perfectly.
He made an important 55 of 27 balls and now a chat between him and India opener Rohit Sharma has went viral on the internet. The chat was done while DK was commentating during India’s tour of England. Karthik shared a photo in which he captioned it “Just me being me” with blessed emoticon, to which Rohit replied, “You still have some cricket left. FYI!”
DK replied, “Don’t ever doubt that sham” with a wink emoticon.
Karthik was brought by RCB for 5.5 crore and he made 330 runs at a strike rate of 183.33. Now there is a strong buzz that Dinesh Karthik should be given a permanent place as wicket keeper in T20Is for India. His current impressive form is something which is a positive sign a head of the T20 World Cup 2022, later this year.
