Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) twitter account hacked, asks for help on Facebook

Royal Challengers Bangalore which is one of the biggest IPL teams, today informed on Facebook that their Twitter account has been hacked. According to the team the hack happened around 4 AM IST on 21st Januray 2023.

RCB claims that even though they had taken all the steps to keep the account safe still the account has been hacked.

Here is the statement issued by them:

When we checked the RCB Twitter account, the following two tweets have been added to the NFT monkey. So far no information is available as to who has hacked it. And Still, RCB claims they don’t have access to their account.

So it would be wise not to click on any links that have been posted on the RCB Twitter account until the account is fully restored.

We will keep you posted as to when the account is live again.
