Shadab Khan’s take on Babar Azam

The Pakistan cricket team are currently in Netherlands as the face the European team in a 3 match ODI series. The Shaheens have sealed the series as they are 2-0 up at the moment, with the last match just a formality for the them.

Furthermore, the Pakistan team visited the Ajax Football Club in Netherlands, and the most amazed news which has come up is that, all rounder Shadab Khan introduced skipper Babar Azam as similar to what Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi represent in football.

Messi and Ronaldo are touted as the two greats in the history of football, as well as they are also quite popular around the globe.

Babar and his boys visited the Netherlands’ top-tier football club, Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax or AFC Ajax, and they managed to meet some of the high famed footballers.

In a video, former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar asked a query to Shadab, to which Shadab pointed towards Babar and stated ‘he’s Cristianal Messi of Cricket’.

Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Imam-ul-Haq, Haris Rauf, and Abdullah Shafique, along with team manager Mansoor Rana were all spotted in the video, followed by a photographer.

After the end of series, Pakistan will shift their focus to the Asia Cup in UAE. But, the backdrop is that they will miss out on the services of bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi who has been ruled out due to an injury.
