The Halle Open is here as Stefanos Tsitsipas will take on Australian star Nick Kyrigos in the last 16. The game will be at 6:10 pm IST on June 15, from the Owl Arena.
The two tennis players have come head to head against each other previously three times, with Nick having the upper hand with a 2 – 1 record. The last time the two met was at the Laver Cup 2021 when Tsitsipas beat the Australian national in straight sets by 6-3, 6-4.
The Owl Arena saw the Greek player come victorious over Kyrigos. However, there was a stir on the Twitter, Nick Kyrigos who is famous for underarm serves, had a special shoutout from a spectator for an underarm serve and the Aussie had no hesitation in doing it.
But, the Greek star was all prepared for it and the results speak for themselves. Nick Kyrigos will next face Pablo Carreno of Spain in the Quarter – final on the 17th June.
