TATA IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings practicing ahead of the IPL 2022

At the mega auction, the four-time IPL champions did not show any interest in signing Suresh Raina for the first time in history. Mr. IPL went unsold. Suresh Raina played in every title-winning season for CSK.

The Chennai Super Kings finished second in the last season’s points table. As many as 18 points were accumulated by MS Dhoni and Co at a Net Run Rate of +0.455. The team won nine games and lost five.
In addition to winning the IPL in 2021, CSK has won it in 2010, 2011 and 2018. After the auction, four players were retained by the yellow brigade. As for CSK, Ravindra Jadeja was retained for 16 crore rupees, MS Dhoni for 11 crore rupees, Moeen Ali for 8 crore rupees, and Ruturaj Gaikwad for 6 crore rupees.
