TATA IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Adil Rashid is unsold In first bidding round
TATA IPL 2022 Mega Auction: has started, The BCCI announced a list of 590 players who will be up for the auction in Ferruary1. The IPL 2022 mega auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 12th and 13th. Of 90 players, who registered for the auction, 228 are capped, 355 are uncapped and 7 belong to Associated Nations. Also, among the 590 players, 370 are Indian and the remaining 220 are overseas players. Meanwhile, 33 South African players will be a part of the mega auction.
Rashid’s Test selection came on the back of two back-to-back county championship wins for Yorkshire – his long-loved club. Rashid had a very slow and painful start to his Test sojourn – getting smashed for almost 5 runs per over on his debut against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi. One of the major complaints about Rashid is his inability to string together quiet overs – he has the ability to take wickets – and he showed that aspect as well in the same Test – grabbing his maiden five-wicket haul.
