Abhishek Sharma has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad at 6 Crore 50 Lakhs.
There was a tough fight between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad for uncapped player Abhishek Sharma. Later on, Gujarat Titans also started a bid for Abhishek Sharma.
He was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad at 55 lakhs and his base price was 20 lakhs.
He gave rise to his debut for Punjab in the 2016 Vijay Hazare Trophy and in the 2017 Ranji Trophy.
In December 2017, he was appointed in India’s team for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup which was held in New Zealand.
In January 2018, he was sold by the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL auction for Rs 55 lakhs. In 2018, he earned his T20 debut, playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 IPL and took off to achieve 46 runs in almost 19 balls.
