TATA IPL mega Auction 2022: Iyer and Sikhar Dhawan got split

TATA IPL mega auction 2022 starts at 11 a.m. on 12th February and will continue on 13th February. IPL 2022 is the 15 edition of the Indian Premier League. Earlier, there were 8 teams competing for the IPL trophy. Now, there are 10 teams competing. The teams are Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants IPL 2022 auction is streaming live on Star Sports and Hotstar. Therefore, other than the retained players of the teams, there are players in an auction open for bidding. Shikhar Dhawan becomes the first player in the queue of bidding.

Delhi Capitals started bidding for 2.60 crores. Followed by Rajasthan Royals for 2.80 crores. DC bids again for 5 crores. Thus, finally, Shikhar Dhawan is sold to Punjab Kings 8.25 crores. Whereas Shreyas Iyer, the bid got increased at a rapid pace. Shreyas Iyer becomes the most expensive player with a bid of 12 Crore 25 Lakhs till now. Shreyas Iyer has been sold to Kolkata Knight Riders with the outcome of the battle between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.

They both have separated now, earlier Iyer and Sikhar Dhawan got sold to different teams. In past games we have seen their twinning the game, we now have to miss that.
