Thomas Tuchel returns for pre-season training in Cobham
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel returned to Cobham after his summer break and immediately put a small group of 789\9\\\78\7players on work. The London club had a 63 game season in 2021/22, which is a big burden, so a month holiday was much needed for Tuchel to take a break.
Players like Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Hakim Ziyech, Trevoh Chalobah and Ross Barkley all returned to the training camp on Saturday alongside the fitness coaches.
These players were joined by the younger lot who were on loan last season, such as Ian Maasten, Dujon Sterling, and Levi Colwill. The German football manager recently joined Chelsea in 2021 and is regarded as one of the best managers in the world due to his style of management and tactical knowledge.
Tuchel was the winning manager of the 2016/17 DFB Cup with Dortmund, his stint came to an end after that. Chelsea came on third position in the 2021/22 Premier League season, Stamford Bridge will be looking to get their hands on the title in the upcoming season under new boss Thomas Tuchel.
