The channel was earlier named as ESPN Sports, the channel is more of a cricket-centric pay-TV sports channel that is owned by Star India. Its operations were headed from Singapore, later Star India took the rights and relaunched the channel in 2013. Star Sports is the official broadcaster of the Indian cricket. During the IPL 2021, the channel became No. 1 in terms of viewership ratings, it reached numbers of 400 million viewers.
Sony Six
Owned by Sony Pictures Networks India, the channel airs several sports events. Sony Six is a part of Sony Pictures Sports Network, and all of them are owned by the Sony Corporation. However, Sony Six mainly broadcasts cricket tournaments. Football, MMA, Basketball, Rugby, Professional wrestling, Badminton are also aired in the channel. Sony Six has a wide range of audience and is popular the most in the youth.
DD Sports
The Indian sports channel DD Sports is telecasted from Central Production Centre Delhi, India. The channel was launched on 18 March, 1998 is the main sports broadcaster of India. Moreover, on July 15, 2003, DD Sports became the only free-to-air channel in the sports genre. Channel has broadcasted sports like, football, cricket, tennis but sports like kho-kho and kabaddi steal the show with high viewership.

Launched in 2013, it was an addition to the cable and satellite customers to view their favourite sports. Since 2019, Fox Sports has offered regional sports networks. The service is free. Fox Sports Midwest, YES Network are some of the regional networks of the channel. FOX Sports is Netherlands sports channel and it is also popular in the Oceania continent.
