Tottenham and Leicester battle to sign Denmark’s Eriksen
Improving with time and getting his A game on in recent matches, Danish player Christian Eriksen is all set to get transferred to Tottenham or Leicester by the end of the season. Also being an ex player of the Spurs (Tottenham), Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has admitted that he would like to work again with Eriksen.
It is said that Eriksen will get a free transfer and it will be essential for both Tottenham and Eriksen as it is of their mutual interest. The Tottenham are currently struggling with their attacking game as they are over dependent on English striker Harry Kane.
Eriksen has been an important player to Brentford and has helped them climb up the points table. Christian Eriksen’s game has also improved over the past couple of years and his experience and exposure of game will be plus point to the Tottenham club if he is transferred.
Brentford have been on the winning end since Eriksen has joined them, the two sides will come face to face on Saturday. “I don’t want to remember what happened to him because it makes me very sad. But to see him now playing at this level is incredible. It’s amazing”, said the Tottenham manager. Antonio Conte has also claimed that he had word with Eriksen in London when he started off with Brentford.
Eriksen currently has 110 goals with Brentford.
