With their terrific performances in the TATA IPL 2022, Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh have made their respective way to the Indian side. Moreover, Umran Malik even got an extended spell in the first training session at Delhi. However, Arshdeep Singh was looking more impressive.
Team India will face off against South Africa in a five T20I series starting from June 9. With the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, it will be a great opportunity for the young guns to shine.
All eyes will be there on rookie pacers Malik and Arshdeep, Umran impressed everyone with his speed at regular intervals and Arshdeep was exemplary in the death overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan are expected to lead the bowling attack in the first T20I, if reports are to beleived then Arshdeep has a brighter chance on his maiden international game.
