US Golf Open 2022; all you need to know
The 2022 US Open has officially begun in Brookline, Massachusetts, with a number of star studded matches and games ahead at the Country Club beginning Thursday. Fresh off his second PGA Tour victory of the season and 21st win overall, new favorite Rory Mcllroy will be looking to get off with winning step as he did in the PGA Championship 2022.
The Irish had taken the lead at Southern Hills after firing a 5 – under 65 last month, and he kicked off his US Open alongside Hideki Matsuyama and Xander Schauffele. Players like Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay and Will Zalatoris are also among the few who are part of the morning wave.
The Country Club will be hosting a US Open for the first time since 1988, a lot of adjusting will be done in the 18 holes of the competition. The live coverage will be from the CBS Sports.
