West Ham demand actions after commentators were attacked in the Europa League

West Ham seek actions after two German radio reporters were attacked by the Premier League supporters of Premier League club during the Europa League semi final. Tim Brockmeier and Phlipp Hofmeister jumped on West Ham fans after Michail Antonio dragged David Moyes’s side level in the 21′. Brockmeier head was ripped and on the floor.

“We are being attacked here. They threw the headset down on my collegue Tim. I have to sort myself out a bit. We have to see that we can get some security personnel here”, Hofmeister reported.

A spokesman of West Ham claimed, “The club is aware of the incident and will be working to identify the offender. In line with our zero – tolerance approach, anyone identified will have their details passed to the police. They will be given an indefinite ban and be unable to enter London Stadium and travel with the club. There is no place for this kind of behaviour.”

However, no clashes of supporters were reported indoors or outdoors, no visitors were allowed to the home sections, West Ham ensured. West Ham fans will surely remember the semi final for the incident and not the club’s performance.
