A treat for every art fans, Rio de Janeiro hosts “Van Gogh live” exhibition with 8k high-resolution version
If you’re an art fan you might have heard the name of one of the famous Dutch painter, Vincent Willem Van Gogh. He gained notoriety after his passing and is today recognized as one of the key figures in the development of Western art. In ten years, he created around 2,100 works of art, including 860 oil paintings, most of which were made in the final two years of his life. These paintings, which include landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and self-portraits, stand out for their use of vivid colors and bold, impulsive brushstrokes that helped pave the way for modern art. He did not have any commercial success, and at the age 37, while experiencing severe melancholy and a lack of resources, he committed suicide.
Animated renditions of the artist’s artwork are brought to life in the exhibition “Van Gogh Live,” which is presently on view in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at a brand-new 8K resolution. This project took six months to complete, according to executive producer Rafael Reisman’s staff of fifty.
“Van Gogh lives 8k is a very high-resolution version of the exhibition. It is a version that the world has not yet seen. Rio de Janeiro hosts the world premiere of this 8k high-resolution version which will bring a different experience to the public, much more beautiful than the one launched at the (Atelier des) Lumieres in Paris.” the maker said.
The public who visited there said that it is very fascinating to see a painting in motion, they think that’s the most amazing part. A viewer said “first of all we are in an era of interactivity. So video speaks Volumes, and transferring paintings into video is fantastic.”
