As the Russia wages war of Ukraine, Ukraine is internally undergoing tumult. Firstly, the war to invade Ukraine is going on for 9 days in a row now. Russia is shelling in different locations of Ukraine and killing civilians.
Further, as a result of their actions, Russian administration is slapped with sanctions from across the world. Their trade is suffering.

The New York Times reports that the senior Chinese officials tell senior Russian officials early in February to not to attack Ukraine until the Winter Olympics is over. The New York Times quotes Joe Biden administrative officials and the European Union officials.
Moreover, Donald Trump in an interview with Fox Business says that China is gleefully monitoring the situation in Eastern Europe. They will attack Taiwan following Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
