China's Xi and US Vice President Biden will meet digitally on Tuesday, Asia time, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry

The Chinese foreign ministry said on Saturday that Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden will attend a virtual summit on Tuesday morning.

According to ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying, the leaders would discuss bilateral ties and matters of mutual concern.

On Friday, the White House announced that the two would meet virtually on Monday night, US time, to discuss “ways to responsibly manage” bilateral rivalry and “to work together where our interests coincide.”
