Czech street artist dedicated Graffiti to Ukrainian children

The graffiti can be seen in the Czech streets of Mojmirova in the district of Nusle.

This graffiti depicts the sad girl who sits with her knees bent and hides the cartoon characters along with her under the Ukrainian flag. The cartoon characters represent the Western culture: American Mickey Mouse, Czech Mole, The Nordic Muminek, The french Obelix, the polish Bolek and Lolek, The Bitzer dog from the British fairy tale, ovecka Shaun and the German bee. drawn by the street artist Chemis, lives in the Czech Republic.

Chemis told that this painting is the result of the help he got from several people living in that area and added that this graffiti is done legally in agreement with the owner of the house.

The popular street artist wrote on his Facebook, ” Ukraine is now fighting not only for its own but also for our freedom. As a father of two children, I cannot imagine the helplessness, pain and fear the ordinary people experience. All of us saw photos of breathless bodies and destroyed cities and also sports halls of schools, full of women with children and grandparents. Please do not stop helping and showing the values of our society.”

He explained the real meaning behind this wonderful graffiti, The little girl protecting the cartoon characters of different western nations symbolizes that “Ukraine protects us.”
