Patron, the dog of Chernihiv pyrotechnicians, has been serving since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
He and his sappers have defused approximately 262 explosive devices.

A video of Patron went viral, a small terrier who has been credited with assisting officials in the discovery of unexploded landmines and artillery shells following Russia’s invasion of the country and the recent retreat of some cities.
Since the beginning of Russia’s attacks, the dog has assisted emergency service workers in clearing explosive devices, according to the agency, which manages a variety of branches of the Ukrainian government such as civil defence and rescue.
