Maye Musk sleeps in Elon Musk’s garage while visiting him, called the family’s previous financial struggles “horrifying”

Elon Musk’s mother admits she “sleeps in the garage” when she travels to Texas to see her affluent son. Elon Musk’s primary residence is a $50,000 house he rents from SpaceX.
The eccentric sleeping arrangements Maye Musk, the mother of billionaire Elon Musk, makes when she visits her son in Texas were recently made public. The activist and model, 74, was open and honest about a range of topics, including her interactions with the CEOs of Tesla and SpaceX.
Even though her millionaire son is the richest man in the world, Maye claims that Elon has “absolutely no interest” in material possessions. She claimed that whenever she visits the tech tycoon in Texas, where SpaceX’s headquarters are located, she must “sleep in the garage.”

Maye stated, “You can’t have a fancy house near a rocket site.” Elon acknowledged earlier this year that he “doesn’t even own a home,” preferring to stay “at friends’ homes.” When he announced in 2020 that he would be selling every one of his properties, this took place.

“I am selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no house, Don’t need the cash. Possession just weighs you down.” Elon Musk said on Twitter.

Later, the CEO of SpaceX disclosed that his principal residence is a $50,000 rental property.

Maye admitted in the interview that she was not interested in going to Mars, in contrast to her son. You have to spend six months in seclusion and preparation, and I just don’t find it appealing. However, she added, “I’ll do anything if my kids want me to.”

In her interview with the site, she also talked about the “hard days” she experienced following the dissolution of her marriage to Errol. “I had stomach discomfort for a very long period after my spouse and I got divorced. I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to provide for my kids’ needs” She remarked.
