Nation State hackers are being recruited by the US Army for both offensive and defensive activities

The U.S Army Chief of Cyber today tweeted about the vacancy for Nation State Hackers. The United States Military (Army) is hiring Nation State hackers for offensive and defensive operations. The front lines of conflict in the twenty-first century have moved to cyberspace, where malicious network activity, sophisticated phishing scams, viruses, and other virtual dangers directly jeopardize the security of the populace and the nation’s essential infrastructure.

As Army cyber warriors, the candidates will receive the education and training required to defend the nation against the growing number of cyber security threats.

The intensive defensive and offensive systems protection training will hone their ability to recognize spyware, ransomware, and adware that targets vital government buildings and financial centers.

They will also acquire the skills necessary to spot international hacker networks, foil regional cybercriminals’ schemes, and defend the communications capabilities of the U.S. Army—the most effective fighting force the world has ever seen.

As a Cyber and Electronic Warfare Officer, you will be the primary staff officer in charge of integrating and safeguarding cyberspace. You’ll organize and direct electronic assaults, support electronic warfare, and participate in the electronic defense.
