North Korea offers 100,000 volunteers to Russia, will facilitate Russia’s “special operation”, reports Russian TV
Russian sate TV recently claimed that North Korea is offering 100,000 volunteers to facilitate participation in a “special operation” in Ukraine. According to the reports, the offer seems like an attempt to strengthen Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
There wasn’t any verification to the military assistance offer, but Russian defense pundit Igor Korotchenko seized upon the claim.
Krotochenko reported to a Russian Channel that there were reports of 100,000 North Korean volunteers being prepared to participate in the conflict.
Korotchenko stated in his statements that, North Korea should be allowed to execute their international duty to fight against Ukrainian fascism, if they desire to do so.
However, there wasn’t any proper emphasis to what “volunteer” force referred to.
This claim of North Korea providing assistance paves the way for many to draw the idea that Vladimir Putin lacks the political capital to order a mass mobilization within Russia.
Korotchenko also pointed out to reports that indicated Russia’s invitation to North Korean “builders” to repair Russian-occupied Donbas.
Russian ambassador to North Korea expressed in an interview in July that qualified, hardworking and ready to work Korean builders will be a very serious part in re building Donbas.
Korotchenko emphasized and appreciated the notion that North Korean builders are motivated, “resident and undemanding”.
This claimed support from North Korea might facilitate the present situation to further results.
