Russia Ukraine war is getting bigger and more serious day by day. War always comes with massive destruction and loss of life. A few days back Russians had captured the second largest city of Ukraine which is Kharkiv. Russian are trying to capture the country’s capital Kyiv, though many people are fighting with full power and strength within them to save the country for their freedom.
But Russian troops want Kyiv in all forms to win the battle. According to a piece of recent news a Ukrainian woman got trapped in her home in Kyiv. She says, ” I am fighting a war within a war,” because she is a transgender woman who worries that Ukrainians who are now armed might get her before the Russian army.
Zi Faamelu says, ” it was already hell in Ukraine to live as a trans person even before the Russian invasion, now it is even worst than that, she can’t go out of her apartment,”
She further said, “My country isn’t accepting LGBTQ group, she is painfully aware that many of men who stayed behind the volunteer soldier have guns, due to which she has to trapped ar home,”
Even if she makes it to the border, she will be blocked as “If you have male gender on your passport as a woman they will not let you cross the border.” says Zi.
Many people like Zi are trapped due to the horrifying war.
