Union Budget mobile app – part of paperless budget 2022
After the budget presenting process in Parliament is completed on February 1, the Union Budget 2022-23 will be available on the Union Budget mobile app.
Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present Union Budget 2022-2023 in a fully paperless form again after 2021. In the year 2021, she presented the first paperless Union Budget, in the wake of covid-19.
The ministry has launched a new application that allows the budget to be presented nearly quickly available to every citizen.
The Budget will be available easily to Members of Parliament (MPs) and the public through the “Union Budget Mobile App.”
The budget will be released in the mobile application after the budget presenting process in Parliament is completed on February 1, 2022.
About the ‘Union Budget mobile app’ –
The application is multilingual i.e users can access the mobile application in two languages – Hindi and English. It is available for Android and iOS versions on PlayStore. To check its authenticity one can verify that is the publisher is National Informatics Centre as there may be the availability of different apps with the same name.
The Union Budget mobile app is provided and also downloadable on the Union Budget Web Portal of Govt. of India((www.indiabudget.gov.in), according to a statement from the finance ministry. The citizen will be soon able to access the budget information through the Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in).
The Union Budget mobile app gives users access to 14 Union Budget papers, Key to Budget Documents, Budget Highlights, including the Budget Speech, Annual Financial Statement (also known as Budget), Demand for Grants (DG), Finance Bill, Memorandum, and other constitutionally mandated documents.
