Zee News Chairman Subhash Chandra to give farewell to DNA anchor Sudhir Chaudhary on July 8
The CEO and editor-in-chief of Zee News, Sudhir Chaudhary, has left the organisation. According to reports, Chaudhary quit his job as CEO of Cluster 1 at Zee Media Corporation to launch his own business.
Sudhir Chaudhary, a veteran of Indian TV journalism, is quitting Zee after ten years of service. But it was his second employment with the organisation. He had first worked for Zee News but resigned to join Sahara Samay in 2003. He has previously worked for India TV. He returned to Zee News in 2012 and began hosting Daily News & Analysis (DNA), one of the most popular programmes on Hindi news channels.
“This is to publicly advise that Sudhir Chaudhury, CEO Cluster 1 has resigned from his services at Zee Media Corporation Limited with immediate effect,” Zee Media stated in a statement. Zee Media has agreed to it with a sad heart because Sudhir has the desire to launch his own business.
Essel Group and Zee Media Mentor Chairman Subhash Chandra claimed in an internal email that he had met with Sudhir Chaudhary twice in the preceding two days in an effort to convince him to stay. Subhash Chandra wrote in the email, “I did not want to be in the way of his advancement since he is intending to start his own enterprise by utilising his fan following.”

Since Chaudhary hadn’t hosted his show DNA for the previous three days, there had been rumours about his resignation for the past few days. Rohit Ranjan, a reporter for Zee Hindustan, hosted the programme. As part of its new newsroom approach, Zee News is reportedly developing a pool of new anchors from its various clusters.
Chandra also plans to host Sudhir Chaudhary’s farewell dinner at the Constitution Club on July 8.

He even replied to Kunal Kamra’s tweet in which he shared a meme of him. To this, the anchor replied in a jolly mood and said Indians first News Startup.
