Viral video about the first flight of Tata Air India turns out to be fake
Talace Pvt Ltd of Tata Sons is the winning bidder at Rs 18,000 crore and thus will buy Air India. The transaction is expected to close by the end of December 2021. On getting Air India back in the hands of the group which founded it as Tata Airlines before it was nationalised in 1953, Ratan Tata tweeted an emotional note with the caption “Welcome back, Air India.”
The video getting viral with the name of first Tata Air India flight is produced with Tiktok app which was banned along with 59 other apps by the Government of India on July 29, 2020. So, it’s definitely not made in India. And by the looks of it, we can guess that it is maybe made outside India about some kind of occasion but we cannot determine whether it’s made before the merger of Tata and Air India or after that. However, when we checked out it is made by a Tiktok user named King Gurcharan Mall BEM CEO and when we checked the URL of video https://www.tiktok.com/@kinggm68/video/7022612938288549126 we determined that it has not been made in the year 2021 or we can say it is not made after the release of report which stated the acquisition of Air India by Tata. Moreover, it is not posted by any official source of Tata. Hence, this Tiktok video is not related to the Acquisition of Air India by Tata. So, according to our Fact Finding team, this video prove to be fake.
