1. Dwight Howard
NBA star Dwight Howard praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for improving the betterment of the holy city of Varanasi. He saw this changes in the city when he made a visit there for a spiritual journey that refreshed his soul.
Dwight said that he had found peace and the whole world within himself after a visit to Varanasi. He thanked India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the magical reformation of the holy city. Also, he said that the city has inspired many legends and it will inspire many more in future. Also, he shared some of the photos of his Kashi visit of applying tilak on his forehead. Also, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism shared the video of the NBA star visiting Varanasi.
2. Ron Harper
Basketball champion Ron Harper visited Mumbai of India on January 25, where he spoke with the youth at the NBA Basketball School at the St. Stanislaus School. Consequently, on the next day, made a live television appearance on SONY TEN 1’s NBA’s show ‘Around The Hoop’.
And on the following day, he went to the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program at the Ghatkopar YMCA.
Harper travelled Chandigarh to attend the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program at DAV Senior Public School, Chandigarh on January 30. Also, he engaged himself with the coaches and teachers who were the part of the NBA Coaches Academy.
3. Andre Miller
Andre Miller, former star player of American basketball visited for the first time ever to India to promote basketball in India. Miller also planned to visit the NBA Basketball school in Delhi on October 30.
4. Kevin Garnett
Kevin Garnett has travelled an Adidas promotional trip to Delhi, Bangalore and Taj Mahal in India. Consequently, he visited Taj Mahal for his final season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
5. Pau Gasol:
Pau Gasol came to India and visited the big city Mumbai and New Delhi. Accordingly, he took part in the NBA Cares programmes and holding clinics.

Steve Smith, who is working with the NBA TV, came to India to launch the NBA Jam and spend his time working with the India’s U16 squad.
The other player is Raja Bell, who has trained along with the Indian national team. Also, he has participated in several fan and basketball development programmes in New Delhi. Robert Horry, who is also known as the “Big Shot Bob” was in the Delhi NCR regions to inaugurate the NBA’s 3×3 tournaments in Mumbai city.
