For Air Defence, it consists of 2 Barak SAM 8 cell launchersof both port and starboard and a S125M SAM launchers. Moreover, INS Ranvir comprises 2 76.2mm crucial guns of 3 inches and 2 AK 630 MCIWS guns of 1.2 inches or 30mm.
Ranvir also comprises Anti-submarine consisting of a 533mm PTA 533 quintuple torpedo tube launcher and 2 RBU 6000 anti-submarine mortars. It’s aircraft carry Ka28 Helicopter. INS Rajput retains an electronic Warfare suite which encompasses a Bharat Ajanta ESM network. Reportedly, the additional containers in the category will retain their Russian designed ESM strategies removed with the Ajanta ESM network.
