- He was born in Austria in 1889 and moved to Germany in 1913 and provided his his services in the German Army in World War I and also earned the the Iron Cross First Class medal.
- He became a part of the German Workers’ Party (DAP) in 1919, whose successor was the Nazi Party and then in 1921 he was appointed leader of the Nazi Party. In 1923, he planned to seize control of Bavaria, March to Berlin and capture power but failed at sent to prison for 5 long years.
