NEO Gamma Humanoid Robot Introduced
The newly-introduced NEO Gamma humanoid robot of 1X as mentioned is a major leap of the tech world in the area of humanoid robots and its notable features include the capabilities of walking more naturally and squatting to pick up objects, 10x better hardware reliability, 10 dB quieter functioning, and improved object manipulation along with a custom-built LLM for natural language interaction.
Speaking more, it comes with four beam-forming microphones and supports echo cancellation, for a clearer audio. It also has a three speaker setup featuring one in the chest area for AI voice, while the other two are placed at the pelvis to deliver bass, together forming a 360° sounding experience. A visual manipulation model is also trained and present within, making it capable of picking objects in/from different scenarios. It also leverages neural networks that have been trained to predict teleoperated actions from the available raw sensor data. Also, the emotive earrings will be providing visual feedback too.
Another key spec to note is NEO Gamma’s knit suit and shoes that are 3D printed from soft nylon material. Both the suit and shoes are designed and made in such a way that it doesn’t hinder the performance, in any manner.
With the multiple AI onboard and other features, the NEO Gamma humanoid robot will be able to assist users in a lot of tasks, doing daily chores and even acting as a mobile speaker system.
