Redmi entered the segment of tablets last year with the launch of Redmi Pad, it was the first tablet under Redmi branding in India. The tablet arrived with a nice balance between core components like- better speakers, a powerful chipset, a big battery, and use cameras. It was launched as an affordable device in India. Now the company is planning to introduce the successor of this tablet very soon, as we recently informed you that a new Redmi tablet has been spotted on EEC certification.
Now we have spotted the same tablet on IMDA certification hinting that the device is nearing its launch. We knew that it is the same tablet as the model number on both websites was the same- 23073RPBFG.
The certification website revealed that the device will support Bluetooth and WLAN. Other than this not much was revealed about this new tablet. This new tablet could probably be the Redmi Pad 2 as recently the specifications of Redmi Pad 2 have also been tipped indicating that the company will soon be unveiling the device.

The device could sport a 10.95-inch 2k IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor which might be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is expected to run on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS.
The tablet is also supposed to pack an 8000mAh battery and it could feature 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie camera.
