AMD Unveils Ryzen 9000 Series in India: Zen 5 Processors Starting at Rs 28,190
AMD has launched its Ryzen 9000 series desktop processors in India. These processors are based on the Zen 5 architecture and are said to come with several improvements in gaming and rendering. The company says that it delivers an average 16% increase in IPC performance compared to the Zen 4 generation.
AMD Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs
AMD has launched four new desktop processors: Ryzen 9600X, Ryzen 9700X, Ryzen 9900X, and the top-end Ryzen 9950X. All these processors are based on AMD Zen 5 architecture and use the AM5 socket thus giving it an edge over its predecessor. These processors have been specifically designed to handle complex 3D rendering, virtual machines, and several other processor-focused tasks. The processors have PCIe 5.0 support, which ensures compatibility with the latest high-speed storage and graphics cards. It has a TDP ranging from 65W to 170W. It ensures low latency in data-intensive applications with a larger L1 cache and up to 80MB of total cache in the top-tier model. The company also launched two new chipsets AMD X870E and X870 that supports PCIe 5.0, DDR5 memory, USB4, and Wi-Fi 7.
