Base Variant Of The Newly Launched Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Facelift : Specs & Features
Hyundai has formally introduced the Grand i10 Nios facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom) and available in four variants: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. Bookings for the hatchback started on January 9 at any Hyundai shop for Rs 11,000. The redesigned Grand i10 Nios will compete with vehicles like the Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Swift, among others.
Exterior :
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift has a new bumper with a larger central air intake and updated LED DRLs in addition to other cosmetic changes. The hatchback’s silhouette hasn’t changed, but there are new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, and updated taillights at the back.
Interior :
The interior of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been completely redesigned and now features a dual-tone black and grey colour scheme, push-button start and stop, an updated instrument panel, and a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connection. The hatchback also has climate control with rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, a USB Type-C fast charger, a cooled glovebox, and more. According to the automaker, this hatchback’s base model now comes with 20 standard safety features, including four airbags. Six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, ISOFIX anchor points, automatic headlights, and a rear-view camera with parking sensors are additional features included in the top models.
Engine & Gearbox :
The new Grand i10 Nios is identical to the pre-lift model mechanically. It is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82 horsepower and 113 Newton metres of torque. A 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT are included with the engine. A 1.2-litre bi-fuel petrol engine with factory-installed CNG, producing 68 bhp and 95 Nm, is also included, along with a 5-speed manual transmission.
