BOE to Officially Announce its X2 Display Panel in China this Month; OnePlus 13 Smartphone Said to Debut with it
BOE, OPPO, and OnePlus have now jointly announced a product launch conference in China and the event will be announcing BOE’s latest X2 display panel. The upcoming OnePlus 13 flagship that is expected to launch soon, later this month, is also said to use this display panel.

BOE X2 Display – Launching on 15th October
As per the poster image that has been shared, the BOE X2 display will be unveiled in the Chinese market this month on the 15th of October 2024, at 2 PM local time, and this will be the brand’s latest flagship flexible OLED display. The poster image also uses the tagline ‘Reach the Pinnacle (translated)’, pointing that the display will be offering better display quality and specs to devices.
In related news, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that this display may have a size of about 6.82″, and should probably be an 8T LTPO display with 2K resolution. He also adds that the display is likely to have uniform bezels too, suitable for a quad-curved display smartphone. Louis Jie, OnePlus China Head, in a similar note also shared that the ‘Second Generation Oriental Screen’ will soon be made available to customers, allowing Chinese screens to take the top lead in the world’s display screen industry.
Apart from the OnePlus 13, OPPO will also be launching its Find X8 series devices this month, and reports claim that the upcoming Find X8 series could also feature this BOE display screen, however, it is not confirmed yet.
Speaking of some other official updates, the OPPO Find X8 series will be unveiled in China on the 24th of October 2024, at 7 PM local time. OPPO’s latest ColorOS 15 custom skin, based on Android 15, will be launched a few days ahead of the Find X8 series launch, and it will take place on the 17th of October 2024, at 10 AM local time. Also to add, the Find X8 series and OnePlus 13 devices are confirmed to have the ColorOS 15 custom skin out of the box.
