The cybersecurity firm Forces Unseen released a new ‘NetSec Goggle’ on GitHub which filters local news and provides information from only trusted cybersecurity sites and some programming, technology sites.
Initially, Brave developed a beta version namely Goggle which allows users to create their own set of rules and alter the search results. The users are allowed to search for their interested topics.
What is NetSec Goggle?
Forces Unseen have developed a new GitHub project which does not ask for the use of Brave Browser. Forces Unseen is a cybersecurity firm which helps companies applications and infrastructure security.
NetSec simply means network and security which provides all information related to cybersecurity. Although, there are numerous Cybersecurity sites which display minute information as well. But people definitely wait for their trusted sites to release the information.
The NetSec Goggle mentions, ‘We were really curious if this could help us to break through all the SEO spam and garbage on the internet and help us be more productive in the information security space.’
‘As a starting point we used submissions from /r/netsec to build this Goggle’, it added.
How to use NetSec Goggle?
First, open the NetSec Google link on Brave search and type anything related to cybersecurity that you need to know. However, the NetSec Goggle doesn’t need the Brave browser.
After selecting enter for the topic, the Brave search will show up from 3,746 websites rather than any other sites. And if you like the search results, you can follow the NetSec Goggle while selecting the Follow button and later you can use it again in future.
