Prediction by Analyst Jeff Pu States that Cupertino is under the testing phase to prepare a prototype of 5X telephoto lenses, although the final manufacturer of it will be decided in the month of May 2022.
Though periscope lenses are already in use with many Android devices, Which is the technology that carries optic assembly of longer telephoto cameras to be placed in a horizontal manner that can ultimately fit into the slim design of phones.

Periscope cameras are preferred for better optical magnification and have superior quality in zooming as compared to those that are digitally cropped.
At current iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro-Max raise the capability of zooming up to 10X digitally but the drawback in this is quality near deteriorates beyond 5X. In contrast, Galaxy S21 Ultra excels with its optical 10X zooming capacity camera.
The Periscope lens camera technology is at the time exclusive for iPhone 15 Pro models only.
Earlier, there are rumors about iPhone 14 series also. The iPhone 14 is also on the way to release with specs 120Hz displays and 6GB of RAM. The iPhone 14 series will be powered by Apple’s next-gen A16 Bionic chipset.
