Amazfit GT 2 series to be launched this month in India, GTR 2 to be launched on Dec 17
The Amazfit GT 2 series features GTR 2, GTS2, and GTS 2 mini smartwatches. GTR 2 is the first model to arrive in India.
On Friday, Amazfit said it would bring this month’s GT 2 series of smartwatches to India. GTR 2, GTS2, and GTS 2 mini are features in the smartwatch series. The company added that on December 17, GTR 2 will be launched with SpO2 in the country.
Amazfit’s GT 2 series is renowned for features focused on health and fitness. Some of the smartwatch series’ top features include enhanced heart rate monitoring,’ OxygenBeats’ blood-oxygen saturation measurement technology, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and a biological data sensor. The smartwatches also include basic components such as a calorie tracker, exercise data, various workout modes, and covered distance and speed.
In its release, the company said it would reveal more details on its official website and Flipkart regarding the roll-out of the devices. GTR 2 will be introduced on December 17, as stated earlier, while the other two models will be available in the following weeks.
The Amazfit GTR 2 comes with a 3D curved bezel-less design with a circular display. It has a high-definition AMOLED display of 1.39 inches. It has an internal storage of 3GB. The company claims that the device can provide typical use of up to 14 days of battery life. GTR 2 can give up to 38 days of back up on basic usage. It is also said to offer a continuous Bluetooth call for 10 hours.
There are as many as 12 sports modes in the smartwatch, including outdoor running, free training, outdoor cycling, climbing, elliptical, and trail running. 5ATM water-resistance also comes with the device.
As stated above for blood-oxygen measurement, the wearable has SpO2. tracker 2 helps detect heart rate alerts that are abnormal.
The appliance is available for $179.999 in the US.
