Following the September 2024 launch of the new iPhone 16 series models, Apple has turned its focus now on to its Mac lineups. Last week on Thursday (24th of October 2024), the brand had teased a week with various exciting announcements and as the first of three new product announcements, the new and refreshed iMac with M4 chip has been unveiled on Monday, 28th of October 2024.

Apple’s New iMac with M4 Chip Unveiled
Unlike what Apple usually does, it has dropped a press release and a simultaneous video announcement to YouTube concerning the latest iMac with M4 chip this time. Speaking of the announcement video, it starts with the release of Apple Intelligence to iPhone, iPad, and iMac devices. The latest iMac with M4 chip also comes with Apple Intelligence, and moreover featuring a wide range of color choices (7), nano-texture glass option, powerful performance with the M4 chip, 16GB standard storage, and a 12MP centrally aligned front-facing camera. It is priced at USD 1299 and the pre-order for the latest product is live with availability scheduled for next week. New USB type-C port-featured accessories – keyboard, mouse, and tracking pad have also been introduced.
The mentioned two other announcements are expected to arrive today and tomorrow, 29th(Tuesday) and 30th(Wednesday) of October 2024. This is expected to be regarding the new Mac mini and MacBook Pro models with the M4 chips. Based on rumors, the Mac mini is said to receive a redesigned look with two USB type-C ports at the front, along with M4 and M4 Pro chips. On the other hand, the MacBook Pro may have 14″ and 16″ display screen models, and M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chipset options.
