Apple launched its new affordable Apple Pencil with USB Type C port
Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple has launched the “affordable” Apple Pencil. Apple in its press release describes it as “ideal for note taking, sketching, annotating, journaling and more” because of its pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. It’s a third Apple Pencil model and has been priced at Rs 7,900($79 USD) with availability beginning in early November.
It comes with a Type C port for charging that remains covered by a sliding cap. It has been designed with a matte finish and a flat side that attaches to the iPad for storage. And as soon as it gets attached it enters into a sleep state to preserve battery Life.
Those who are concerned about the compatibility need to know that Apple Pencil is compatible with all iPad models with USB C port including iPad (10th generation), iPad Air (4th and 5th generations), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generations), and iPad mini (6th generation).
On one side where it’s affordable and comes with a Type C port, it also lacks some features like double tap to change tolls and pressure sensitivity. The new Apple Pencil works with iPadOS features like Scribble and Quick Note, and when collaborating with others in Freeform
