Apple Vision Pro announced to be available in US on February 2

Cupertino-based tech giant Apple today announced that it will start shipping the mixed reality headset Apple Vision Pro on February 2nd in the United States.

The headset was first showcased during its developer’s conference WWDC in June month of last year. If we talk about the pricing it starts from $3499. Additionally, Apple also revealed the pricing of ZEISS prescription lenses that will cost $199 while readers will be available for an extra $99.

Pre-orders for the headset will open from January 19.

“The era of spatial computing has arrived,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

“Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine how we connect, create, and explore.”

Apple has to say about it “Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that transforms how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment”.

“Vision Pro seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world and unlocks powerful spatial experiences in visionOS, controlled by the most natural and intuitive inputs possible — a user’s eyes, hands, and voice.

“An all-new App Store provides users with access to more than 1 million compatible apps across iOS and iPadOS, as well as new experiences that take advantage of the unique capabilities of Vision Pro”

On one side where the headset was praised at the time of its preview other side some tech enthusiasts also said it was overpriced.
