As per a leak, Huawei P60 is in works, and will reportedly launch in 2023

Nearly two years after the Mate 40 series went on sale, Huawei announced the Mate 50 series. The business now appears to introduce a new generation of P60 flagship phones rather than a new flagship smartphone.

The most recent rumor indicates that the Huawei P60 model, which will replace the P50 series that was previously available. According to a recent leak, the premium P60 series smartphone will come with state-of-the-art capabilities sometime in March 2023. The most recent flagship model will also feature numerous improvements over the P50 series.

The P60 is expected to have the Mate 50 model’s variable focus lens since, according to the insider, the camera department will be revamped.

The telephoto lens will allegedly receive an upgrade as well, with a 64-megapixel sensor being speculated to be there. The OEM is still prohibited from including specific technologies, such as 5G networking. As a result, Huawei plans to sell the P60 without a 5G modem but with a cutting-edge processor.

This means that a 4G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will likely be used. However, a previous rumor said that the company might be using the HiSilicon Kirin 9100 chipset. Which is produced using a 14nm process.

Not to mention, the most recent leak gave us a sneak peek at what the P60 might look like. While the rear continues to have two circular modules, the front appears to have two selfie cameras that could be mounted atop a pill-shaped notch. Two sizable sensors are located in the taller one, while a second camera and a single LED flash are located in the lower one.
