Asus ZenFone 6 or Asus 6Z was launched in May last year and then came to India as Asus 6Z a month later. The phone has started receiving update in Taiwan. Taiwanese variant of the phone has started receiving update version that brings Android 11 and all its new features to the phone. In the beginning the phone was launched with Android 9 Pie and was later updated to Android 10 in November in 2019.
The official forum for Asus has stated that the update is available to the handsets with certain model number has started receiving Android 11 in form of OS version. The people who don’t receive the update presently should wait. This might take some time. We can expect the same in India next year, apparently.
Though the company hasn’t provided a definite timeline. At launch Asus had promised two Android OS updates for Asus 6Z. First time it was updated to Android 10 in November last year and this is its second update. The company started the Android 11 beta program for the ZenFone 6 back in August. Indian buyers have to wait for the update currently if there is any news related to this we will inform you as soon as possible.
