ASUS and Xbox Teases a New Handheld Gaming Device: Likely an Xbox-Branded ROG Ally

Via a new X post, ASUS has teased an upcoming gaming device for the global market. Based on rumors and other updates, this could possibly be hitting the market as an Xbox-branded ROG Ally handheld gaming device. The teaser video shared also suggests a few of its notable features too.

Xbox-Branded ROG Ally Handheld Gaming Device Teased?
As mentioned, ASUS has shared a new teaser update via its global X handle, and in the teaser video one can notice the Omni robot working on something with more battery life, larger storage, better performance, and refreshed look. Topping this, the ROG Ally gaming device and the ROG Raikiri Pro controller are also seen becoming a part of it by flying into the machine.
From all these hints given, it is being assumed that the next gen ASUS ROG Ally will possibly be introduced soon in the global market, and this time we can expect an Xbox-branded ROG Ally device. Commenting on the X post, we can also find Xbox sharing a side-eyeing meme, further again pointing to this assumption.
As per what was reported earlier, Microsoft has been working with ASUS to bring out an Xbox handheld gaming device and to take on with Steam Deck in terms of competition, and from what it appears, this could be the said upcoming device (~ Project Kennan). Also to add, reports do state that likely this device may run on Windows 11 OS with an Xbox-themed launcher and game bar, however it is not yet sure. Moreover, the AMD Ryzen Z2 processor may be equipped within it for improved performance, and it is likely to be introduced at USD 799 according to reports.
As of now, no official announcement has been made regarding the launch date of the product. Probably in the coming days, ASUS could start teasing the device, which would confirm its moniker, specs, features, and official launch date. Stay tuned.
