ASUS Announced World’s First Gaming Router With AFC At COMPUTEX 2024: The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 Tri-Band WiFi 7 Router

ASUS announced a new ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 Tri-Band WiFi 7 Gaming Router at COMPUTEX 2024. It holds the title of being the world’s first gaming router with Automatic Frequency Coordination that checks the WiFi environment and chooses the least congested channel in the 6 GHz band, boosting peak transmit power by up to 63 times higher than Low Power Indoor networking devices.

This new router comes with the company’s exclusive network segmentation technology Guest Network Pro that empowers gamers to manage network features and connected devices easily by connecting to a dedicated SSID or VLAN. To meet the network needs of different users the Guest Network Pro features a Kid’s Network, IoT Network, VPN Network, and Guest Network. For gamers, the Guest Network Pro has a Gaming Network Setting for their needs. Its triple-level acceleration prioritizes a game’s data packets, enhancing experiences from the gaming device to the router to the game server.

You also get to see the support for AI-powered wireless backhaul, a ROG GT-BE19000 10 Gb Ethernet LAN port, and a dedicated wired backhaul option for an always-connected extendable mesh network. Features like Smart AiMesh and enhanced security, Guest Network Pro will also be available on many ASUS and ROG WiFi 7 routers, including the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, ROG Rapture GT-BE98, ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro (BE30000), ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 and ASUS RT-BE88U. The company has yet not announced the price and availability of this new router though gamers must be waiting for it eagerly. ASUS has announced several products during the event and recently it announced innovative and hi-tech gaming laptops.
