Asus officially launches ROG 6D and 6D Ultimate; check the prices and more

Both the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate come in a single colour – Space Gray.

The Asus ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate from Asus have officially gone on sale. The devices are Dimensity-powered and join the intriguing ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro variants from Qualcomm.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor powers the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate. The ordinary version’s internal memory cap is 16GB+256GB, but the ultimate version’s is 16GB+512GB, so there is still a difference between the two.

The 6.78-inch OLED panel on the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate has the same 10-bit colour depth, 165Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support as the ROG Phone 6 line-up.

On the principal unit of both variations, there is a 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor with 1.0 million pixels, an f/1.9 lens, a 13MP f/2.2 camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Both variations have a 12MP sensor placed on the front.

Both phones have the same 6,000 mAh battery capacity and allow rapid charging at up to 65W.

The recently released ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate are still compatible with the accessories for the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro.

The unique AeroActive Portal on the rear of the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate offers a direct route to the internal cooling components through a motorised hinge.

When attached, the AeroActive Portal lifts the assembly and instantly creates an airway, which enables the fan to more effectively direct heat.

The only colour available for the ROG Phone 6D and the 6D Ultimate is space grey.

In the UK, the regular 6D costs £799 In India it would be Rs 63741.94, while the Ultimate model costs £1,199 In India it would be Rs 95652.80. The AeroActive Cooler 6 accessory, which costs about €89, is part of the Ultimate version.
