Asus plans to increase the number of gaming smartphones available with the launch of new ROG phones
Asus intends to expand the selection of gaming smartphones with the release of a new ROG phone. The ROG Phone 6D will be formally unveiled by Asus on September 6. The company has prepared a virtual event to unveil a gaming smartphone.
The business has already stated that a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ CPU will be included in the upcoming gaming smartphone from the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer. A new gaming smartphone was released, the company tweeted. The company tweeted, “The ROG Phone 6 will soon achieve its peak condition! For optimal performance, the MediaTek ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, which debuts on September 19, is equipped with the most modern Dimensity 9000+ CPU.”
Apart from Asus’ confirmation that the new phone will include the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, there isn’t much information about it in the official press. However, it is highly possible that the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will share certain crucial parts with the other ROG Phone 6 models, such as the identical 165Hz display with an FHD+ resolution, the identical 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and a triple camera setup for imaging.
The name of the device, ROG Phone 6D, has recently appeared on the company’s official website’s page on RoHS certification.
The octa-core system on chip of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9000, consists of the Arm Mali G-710 MC10 GPU, three Arm Cortex-A710 performance cores, and four Arm Cortex-A510 efficiency cores.
