Check Out These Exciting Nothing Power Strip (1) Community Renders
Nothing, the UK-based tech company, has already made a great impact on the tech world, popularizing its transparent design themes, as well as its consumer electronics devices. The Ear (1), Phone (1), Ear (Stick), Ear (2), and the recently launched Phone (2) all adopted the transparent design style and offered good specs to their users.
Now, the Community Manager of Nothing, Rob Godwin, has shared(via Twitter/X) a few exciting render images for the Power Strip (1), featuring the same transparent design, and some interesting elements.
Power Strip (1) Community Renders
These community renders of the Power Strip (1) made by Dina El Makrini(a community member), as mentioned have a transparent design and, at the same time are quite stylish, innovative, and futuristic. Unlike the normal power strips we all would have seen by now, this concept brings four USB type-C ports at one of the sides and a circular power socket at the top.
At its top, we can find the Nothing branding too, and two spherical units, of which one is speculated to be a power button, and the other is the module that houses the circular power socket. Do note that even if the transparent design has been maintained, we don’t get to see anything about its internal components. Also, to add, the cable is red, reminiscent of OnePlus’ red cables
As pointed out, these are just community renders and there aren’t any reports pointing to Nothing’s plan to introduce a power strip to the market. However, these renders are great indeed, just like what Rob Godwin, the Community Manager, has said in his X post, and Nothing can/may want to be considered in making the concept a reality.
